Lenny Kravitz’s Workout Attire Is Just Mind-Blowing

Yesterday, Lenny Kravitz gave his fans a glimpse into his unique workout routine, sharing a video on X (formerly known as Twitter) where he was clad in what could be considered his signature stage look—combat boots, a mesh vest, sunglasses, and leather pants. Despite his upcoming 60th birthday in May, Kravitz’s choice of workout attire proves that his style remains as distinctive and unapologetic as ever.

In the video, Kravitz exudes positivity and gratitude, captioning his post with, “Thank God for today! Grateful. Never been better. There are no shortcuts so seize your day. It is all possible. Love!” His post quickly captured the attention of fans and celebrities alike, sparking a variety of reactions regarding his unconventional gym wear.

ESPN’s Marcus Spears highlighted Kravitz’s cool factor, joking, “Man, you know how damn cool you gotta be to not wear workout clothes to workout. Lenny Kravitz ladies and gentlemen! If I wore leather pants to walk I’d dehydrate immediately.”

Fashion critic Derek Guy, known as the ‘Menswear Guy’ on X, praised Kravitz for his bold fashion choice even during exercise, commenting, “Amazing to get fits off even when lifting weights. This man is 59 years old wearing black leather pants and a purple mesh shirt while lifting weights. Honestly an inspiration.”

Director Julie Cohen and actor Michael Ian Black also chimed in with their admiration. Cohen remarked on Kravitz’s unstoppable energy, saying, “I’ve got energy. But I haven’t got Lenny Kravitz in leather pants bench pressing at an incline to Trombone Shorty energy.” Black succinctly captured his awe, tweeting, “Dude works out in leather pants and that is why he is my god.”

While some followers expressed concerns over the practicality of leather pants for working out, many defended Kravitz’s choice, pointing out his decades-long history of performing energetically on stage in similar outfits without issue.

Guitarist Cory Wong humorously inquired about acquiring Kravitz’s stylish gym wear, asking, “Where do I get those LuluLenny’s?” on Instagram, highlighting the rock star’s influence on both music and fashion.

In addition to his fashion statement, Kravitz also has exciting news for his music fans. His new album, “Blue Electric Light,” is set to release on May 12. This will be his first album since 2018’s “Raise Vibration,” adding yet another layer of anticipation for his followers.
